The NBA Playoffs 2015 Edition: Warriors vs Cavaliers
Tomorrow is the day when two teams come together for 7 games to see who will emerge victorious as the 2015 NBA Champions; will it be the Golden State Warriors who haven't won since 1975 and haven't been to the finals since they won or will it be the Cavaliers who have never won but have made it there before in the past 10 years. I can tell you who I want it to be because clearly we all know I am a Warriors girl and a Bay Area Sports fan. But to be honest this is actually going to be one of the best Championships that we have had. It will go to 7 games because both of these teams have the skill level and the drive to make every game close.
The best news that has come out of the Warriors camp is that Klay Thompson has been cleared to play in game one of the Finals after sustaining a concussion about a week ago. For the Warriors to get the Splash Brothers back is great news because these two men have become the backbone for the team and their ability to drain the 3 has been mostly unstoppable. You cannot forget about Draymond Green, Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes, these three men have helped to make the Warriors one of the best all around teams in the country. They always say that defense wins championships and I believe that is true and this team is the best defensive team in the country; they would not have gotten to where they are without it.
Granted the Cavaliers have Lebron and he is not someone who can be pushed to the side but he doesn't have the all around talent around him that the Warriors have and he has come from the East which is a weaker conference then the West. I do have to say that while the Cavs are not as deep as the Warriors they are no slouches either and they do have a great team and they have made it to the Finals, which does take a lot of hard work and talent to achieve. I kind of want the Cavs to get a ring but not this year, not against my boys in the Blue and Gold. I personally predict that it will be 4-3 Warriors.
I hope you enjoyed this post and will keep following my love affair with sports.
