A Thank You to Jim Harbaugh for the 2011 San Francisco 49ers
Jim Harbaugh you have done what many coaches have tried to do in the last 10 years, you have instilled in the 49ers and the fans the feeling of winning and accomplishment. You have given us a reason to don our Niners apparel every Sunday and be proud of our boys in the Red and Gold as they play either at Candlestick Park or away. I never knew that being a fan could be so rewarding and for that I do want to thank you.
This season has been amazing; watching or following the scores of every game and seeing just how well our players can play has been very rewarding. I have always said that the 49ers have had the pieces there, we had the talent in Frank Gore, Crabtree, Davis, we just needed a coach who could give our players that spark. Singletary was never that coach but I knew that you are that coach. Giving Alex Smith the confidence he needed to be the player that our front office knew he was when we drafted him in 2005 and him not letting anyone down this season has been truly spectacular.
Yes we didn't win at home against the Giants this year but we beat quality teams and we beat Drew Brees last week. I know that we will be contenders next year and be favorites to come back to the playoffs and hopefully next year we can make it to the Super Bowl and hopefully win it all. San Francisco thank you for being the most amazing city in the world and giving sports fans a reason to be proud. Watching the 49ers in the playoffs this year has been truly wonderful and has made me miss being home and not surrounded by legions of fans in the Red and Gold. Next year, we have next year and we now have a coach we can all be proud of. So again Coach Harbaugh I thank you as does the city of San Francisco.
