Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals

After being down 2-1 to the Memphis Grizzlies, the Warriors came back and won 4-2.  The crowning moment of Game 6 was when Steph Curry made a 70+ foot shot at the end of the third quarter that went in right as the quarter ended.  It was glorious and shows the resilience of the Warriors.  The Warriors are a team that can seemingly be down and out for the count but will come back stronger then ever.  This year they have never lost more then two games in a row.  I am so proud of this team and truly do think that they will win the NBA Championship and that this is our year.

The Warriors have been moving towards this year, this team since we drafted Steph Curry and then the following year Klay Thompson.  It has been a long road for us Warriors fans but it has been rewarding to watch the team blossom and grow into such a strong team that has bone-fide stars on it but yet are just now getting the recognition that we have always known they should get.  This isn't a team with one or two stars but a team with two players who can put the team on their backs but most of the time do not have to.

I think that the Warriors will beat the Rockets and James Harden in more then likely 6 games because they are a team that can come back and dominate on both sides of the court, we are defensive team with offensive power.  That is a rare combination in the NBA, and as we all know defense wins championships.

I will keep you updated with recaps of the series vs the Rockets.  I hope you enjoyed this post and will keep following my love affair with sports.
