MLB Postseason: What a crazy start it was

So yesterday started the beginning of the MLB post season and can I say what a crazy time it was watching the final day of the regular season where a few teams post season fates were to be decided like the Tampa Bay Rays and the Boston Red Sox. One team like Heidi Klum would say will be in and the other out depending on how they would do against the Yankees for the Rays and th Orioles for the Sox. Well as everyone now knows the Rays are in the postseason and for the third year in a row the Red Sox are out. This post will look into the collapse of the Sox and what I think the postseason has in store for us this year. Granted it won't be as amazing as last year when the Giants won it all but what can you do. So let's discuss what happened to the Red Sox they were up 9 games in the beginning of September and everyone thought they were going to make it into d postseason for the first time but then another epic collapse and they are out and the Rays started to play well and started to catch up to the Sox. Then the it was the final day of th post season and it came down to if both teams lost or won then there would be a tie-breaker game but if one team lost and the other won they were in. The Rays were playing the Yankees and the Yankees were up 8-0 and against the Orioles, Boston was up 3-2. In the Rays game they started to come back and tied the game but once Boston lost in the 9th to the Orioles, and this I do have to say the Yankees let the Rays win and make it into the postseason because why would the Yankees want to potentially play the Sox when the Sox had beat them overall in their head to head series. So this will be an interesting postseason for many reasons. Now onto the first day of the postseason, the Rays handily beat the Rangers 8-0 and did show the world that maybe they do belong in the post season but it is only game one and they could have gotten lucky. Though I do see them going far they are this years SF Giants the team that will ride the momentum of a crazy end to the regular season and could make it to the World Series. Then Game 1 between the Yankees and the Tigers was suspended in the middle of the second inning with th game tied at 1 apiece due to rain. Today we shall have the rest of the game 1's with Arizona playing the Brewers (go Brewers) and the Cardinals playing the Phillies, not sure who I want to win here sorry Phillie friends.
