College Football Rumors

I have just read a report where it seems like it is now a sure thing that Les Miles will be let go from LSU either on Sunday or on Monday.  I am very shocked to here this news because he has had a great run with LSU over the year compiling a 110-32 record. He's won two SEC championships, three SEC West titles, and the 2007 BCS National Championship.  This is not a record of a coach that should be let go but this is the college football way now, if you don't perform at a high level and win every game you could be fired.

There are a few spots where Les could end up and one those places is at Virginia Tech since Frank Beamer is retiring after this season.  This is a fairly good spot for him to go as it has a storied history and his name recognition would give some players a reason to go to the Tech.  We shall have to see if the rumors are true by Monday to know what speculation there will be about the future of Les Miles.
