Post Regular Season NCAA Football coaching changes
Well now that the regular season has ended for college football there have already been quite a few major changes and announcements when it comes to the coaching staff. The first being that Justin Fuente has been officially announced as the new Head Coach for Virginia Tech. Fuente comes from Memphis where he went 26-23 while turning the team around and having his last two seasons be at least 9 win seasons. He is one of the up and coming coaches and I think that he will be a good fit for Tech. He has also done the smart thing and retained Bud Foster as Defensive coordinator since Foster is one of the best in the business. I look forward to seeing how he will do next year.
In other news in the SEC, the AD for LSU has confirmed that Les Miles will stay on as the Head Coach and stated that Les has been and will be their coach. While on the other side Georgia has let go Mark Richt after 15 seasons since he has been unable to beat teams that matter in the SEC. Let us see what happens to Georgia next year. I will keep you updated with any other coaching changes that I hear about.
I hope you enjoyed this post and will keep following my love affair with sports.
